These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the PipeSite website and services. By purchasing from us or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We offer the following services:

• • Website packages for plumbing and heating engineers.

• • Additional website-related services such as SEO and custom builds.

• • Resources available for purchase.

2. Payment and Annual Renewal Fee

• • Payments are processed via Stripe.

• • Upon purchasing a website package, clients are required to set up a direct debit for the £150 annual renewal fee, payable from the purchase date.

• • Clients are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available to cover recurring charges.

3. Refund Policy

• • Refunds will not be given once a website has been built or significant progress has been made on the project.

• • Clients may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if no work has started on the website.

4. Website Information Submission

Upon purchasing a website package, clients must submit all required content and information within 6 months of the purchase date. We will send email reminders at 1 month and 3 months to assist in meeting this deadline.

• • If the client contacts us within the 6-month period, we may, at our discretion, extend the deadline to a maximum of 12 months.

• • If the website goes live during this extension, the annual renewal remains payable 12 months from the purchase date.

• • If the client fails to submit the required information within the agreed timeframe (including any extensions), the service will be forfeited, and the client will need to purchase a new package if they wish to proceed.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

• • The design templates we provide are the intellectual property of PipeSite and cannot be used outside of the service we provide.

• • Clients own the content and images they provide, as well as the domain, which we will purchase on their behalf and transfer if they decide to leave our service.

6. Domain and Email Services

• Domain Registration:  We will register and manage your domain as part of your service package. The domain will remain under our management for the duration of your contract. Should you wish to take ownership of the domain, we will facilitate the transfer upon request.
• Email Services:  You have the option to use Hostinger mail or another email provider of your choice for domain-based email accounts. While we will assist in the initial setup of your email accounts, please be aware:

• • If you choose to transfer your domain away from us, email accounts hosted through our service may not be transferrable or may experience service disruptions.
  • We cannot guarantee the successful migration of emails during a domain transfer. It is your responsibility to back up important emails and configure a new email solution if needed.
• Client-Managed Option:

  If you prefer full control and peace of mind, you may manage your own domain and email services. In this case:

  • We will only be responsible for the website development and hosting (if applicable).
  • There will be no change in the package price, as the domain and email services are optional but complementary to the service.

 

7. Liability

• • We will take all reasonable steps to secure the website, but we are not liable for any data breaches, hacking, or security issues.

• • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any content, text, or images they provide. PipeSite is not liable for any copyright violations related to client-provided content.

8. User Content and Reviews

• • Clients can submit content for their own websites but cannot post content directly on the PipeSite website.

• • We may email clients after their website goes live to invite them to leave a review.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Wales and the United Kingdom.
